General Practitioners Surgery
We are a rural general practice and this is the only medical centre in Otorohanga. We offer general medical services, and have onsite xray and ultrasound facilities on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are also able to undertake minor excisions and provide referrals to secondary services. We have a weekly visiting mental health coordinator. We are able to offer very low cost access funding for our patients which results in cheaper doctors visits for you and your family. We provide Saturday mornings 9-12noon for both booked and acute appointments. Please note that after hours fees apply.
For help and advice when we are closed, please call us (07 873 7079) to access our after hours nurse triage service. Our after hours provider is Anglesea Clinic in Hamilton (ph: 07 858 0800) who are open 24 hours. Alternatively Mahoe Med in Te Awamutu (ph 07 872 0923) is open 8am-8pm weekdays and 9am-3pm weekends and public holidays.
