The Harewood Medical Centre has served the primary care needs in Northwest Canterbury for over forty years. With five GPs and a great team of dedicated nurses and receptionists we provide a warm, friendly and personalised service in all aspects of general practice.
We follow a traditional model of a smaller practice where patients, in most cases, can be seen by their own doctor and usually at a short notice (same day appointment if urgent). We can offer the latest computer technology for greater ease and access to our services and management of certain medical conditions.
We belong to the Pegasus Medical Group, which offers after hours cover through the 24 Hour Surgery situated at 401 Madras Street.
Our Practice is a certified Foundation Standard General Practice, a New Zealand benchmark of quality for medical centres.
