About Me

NZ born, studied at AUT Akld- has a Bachelor of Health Science in Nursing, completed post graduate diploma in Biological science and diabetes specialty nursing. Rebecca has been nursing since 2002 with a background in general medical/cardiology and emergency nursing. She has been working in primary care with chronic care patients since 2009 and has an interest in healthy eating and exercise. Since 2009 Rebecca has been running self- management groups as a Master trainer in the chronic disease self- management programme and developed her own funded weight management course. Rebecca qualified as a Diabetes nurse specialist in 2016, and also has an interest in respiratory nursing and is qualified to do diagnostic spirometry for patients Interests include netball, gym and travelling with her family.
