About Me

I gained my Medical Degree from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2006 (MBBS). I moved to New Zealand in 2007 to continue hospital training. I started work in Three Kings Accident and Medical Clinic in 2013. I have completed training in general practice and also urgent care. I am skilled at Chronic care and with all aspects of family medicine, accident and emergency management, steroid joint injections, minor surgeries, fracture management and Jadelle insertion/removal. I am trying to improve skills on dermoscopy. My usual working days are four days a week except for most Thursdays. I greatly enjoy the long term relationship developed with patients to improve their health and also to keep up to date with advances in medicine. I am fluent in English and Sinhalese. I am married with two boys. I like to spend time with my family, watch movies and listen to music in my free time. I also enjoy swimming, chess and tennis. Languages - English, Sinhalese
