John was born in Taumarunui in 1960 and grew up in Tauranga. He graduated from Med School in 1984 and has been with Dee Street since 1988. John loves his job and his special interests are Skin Cancer Surgery and Diving Medicine as he’s a keen diver himself, Sports Medicine, Minor Surgery, ‘no scalpel’ Vasectomies and Occupational Medicine. He is married to Anne and has three daughters. John is keen on the outdoors especially sailing and skiing.
