About Me

Katie is currently working at the practice exclusively as a skin cancer Dr. doing skin checks and skin surgery. I graduated from the University of Tasmania School of Medicine in 2007. After working in hospitals in Australia and New Zealand I started my GP training in New Zealand in 2012 gaining Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of GPs in 2015. My interest is in skin cancer medicine and minor surgery. I have a special interest in early skin cancer detection (dermoscopy) and treatment and I have completed advanced training this area making me an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
