I was born in the North of England and graduated from Sheffield Medical School. I worked in the UK for two years before coming to New Zealand, supposedly on a six month working holiday with my husband, but we didn’t want to leave! We spent almost two years in Palmerston North and I worked in the Wellington and South Wairarapa regions before coming to Mana, where I’m able to indulge in my hobbies of kayaking and paddleboarding. I am interested in all areas of general practice and love the variety it brings. I particularly enjoy minor surgery and paediatrics, having completed a diploma in child health through the University of Otago.
